In Judy's hometown, the center green is beautifully decorated for the holiday season. The lighting of the green is a big celebration and there are events held throughout the downtown. This happens right after Thanksgiving and starts off the holiday season. Many generations have enjoyed this event and people come back to the city during this time of year to see how the green is decorated, as it changes every year. Not only is the green decorated, but throughout the holiday season, music is playing from the speakers. It really makes the downtown so festive!
